Why it's free
patientmonitorsimulator isn't a company with a sales team to fund. It's two people, an engineer and a practicing anesthesiologist, who built this because bedside monitor training shouldn't require a manikin that costs as much as a car. Charging for it was never the point.
It's already been used this way in around a hundred real training exercises, all free, all run by that same anesthesiologist. Nothing about the free version is a stripped-down trial of something bigger.
What if that changes?
If a paid tier ever shows up, it will be for something extra, like multi-station support for a whole classroom, not a paywall on what already works today. Whatever you can do right now stays free.
